We are looking for a calm, capable Nanny who is also interested in gardening for a full-time, permanent position. 

The role is based on a beautiful rural estate on the Surrey/West Sussex border and would suit someone who enjoys the outdoors and wants a varied, long-term position that will evolve as the children get older. 

At present, the children are young - aged 3, 2 and a baby. The job currently operates as a mixture of sole and shared care, and duties involve preparing meals and supervising mealtimes, nursery runs and taking the children to activities, as well as helping the children with educational and physical development through structured play and activities. 

Gardening duties would involve helping to care for the grounds when childcare is not required - weeding, watering, etc – although exact duties can be agreed upon depending on the candidate’s own interests and experience. There is a part-time groundsman who does most of the garden tasks. 

Accommodation can be provided during the week if required - there is a separate, newly refurbished annexe available for the candidate’s sole use.  

Own car essential. 

Salary up to £45,000, depending on experience. Friday afternoons and weekends off.
