About us
We are a family-run business farming approximately 1,200 acres near Lincoln. Our arable rotation mainly includes cereals, OSR and spring beans, alongside a herd of 120 pedigree Lincoln Red cattle.

The Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join us as an arable operator. This is a key role within the business, with responsibility for the day-to-day undertaking of arable operations.

The successful candidate be an integral part of drilling, harvesting, fertiliser applications and general arable work. They will be comfortable maintaining machinery, equipment and a tidy, safe working environment. All crop spraying is currently carried out by external
contractors.

In addition to arable responsibilities, the role will include involvement with the livestock enterprise, particularly during the winter months. The successful candidate will also support the livestock manager during busy periods with calving, turnout, maintenance of
fencing etc.

Skills & Experience
Proven experience in arable farming operations
Competent machinery operator with good mechanical knowledge
Organised, reliable and able to work under own initiative
Comfortable taking responsibility and ownership of tasks
Willingness to assist with livestock work as part of a mixed farming system
Able to work effectively as part of a small, close-knit family team
Comfortable operating John Deere GreenStar
