Position Summary
The Estate Manager is responsible for the overall management and smooth, efficient, and secure operation of the entire estate, including all grounds, facilities, buildings, and staff. This involves working with Panthera Private Office LLP and the estate team to gain a deep understanding of the complex estate and its unique, niche areas of operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
• Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate effectively, and manage staff
• Financial Acumen: Strong skills in accounting, invoicing, and financial reporting
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects from conception through completion
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, with the ability to interact professionally and discreetly with Principals, staff, and external parties
• Discretion & Trustworthiness: Absolute commitment to confidentiality and integrity in handling private information and sensitive matters
• Problem-Solving: Proactive, resourceful, and calm under pressure when resolving unexpected issues or emergencies
Experience & Qualifications
• Relevant experience in estate management
• A relevant degree or certification (e.g., in hospitality, facilities management, or business
administration) is desired
• Knowledge of building systems, groundskeeping, and agricultural practices
• A valid driver's licence
