How to Apply
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Iford Estate’s farming team for harvest 2025. The Estate consists of 800Ha of combinable crops with the rest of the Estate down to a variety of different grasslands for suckler cows and stewardship schemes. Nestled in the heart of the South Downs, Iford is a small village on the outskirts of Lewes, East Sussex.
Reporting to the assistant farm manager the successful candidate will be required to undertake various roles throughout their time with us including but not limited to corn carting, cultivations, rolling and bale carting, as well as some livestock work.
The ideal candidate would have completed a couple of harvests before coming to the Estate and will possess a telehandler certificate, although this is not a necessity. We would a value a enthusiastic, conscientious and trustworthy individual who gets on and works well with the rest of the small farm team and wider estate staff.
In return the Estate will offer good rates of pay with accommodation provided if necessary.
To seek further information on the role please contact the assistant manager, Wes, on 07775773019.
To apply, please email a CV and covering letter outlining your previous harvest experience and why you would be suited to this role to wes@ifordestate.com. All applications are treated with the strictest confidence.
