We have two positions available for the upcoming season in North Island, New Zealand. Haurua Pastoral is located 20 minutes south east of Te Awamutu, 40 mins from Hamilton and 2 hours from Auckland.

The dairy platform is 276 Hectares of beautiful rolling countryside with a 50ha runoff block. We peak milk 820 spring calving cows and milk through a 44 -aside herringbone parlour. Grass is our main feed producing highly efficient low cost milk.

We run a system 2 with strategic use of supplements and majority of cows are wintered off-farm. With a well-rostered milking rota. We use a mixture of twice-a-day and once-a-day milking throughout the season. You will be part of a 5 person team that is driven to achieve on farm targets, work safely, learn new skills and have some fun along the way.
