Three Musketeers and Suffolk Produce are sister companies in Suffolk specialising in early potato, onion and carrot crops. Our business markets, stores and packs produce on behalf of five local farms. We work closely with our farmers to market and sell the crop onto the wholesale market and supermarkets.

We are looking for seasonal QCs to take field dig, store and harvest samples and analyse them to aid our sales team. You will be working closely with our Crop Managers/Sales Team and the Farmers along with two other QC’s and additional support from the Technical Manager.

We need someone to start mid May to begin the carrot sampling and to run through to the end of September/October. The length of time will ultimately depend on how quickly we can get the crop sold however, with five growers in our group and the rest of the years grading etc to get through I am sure we can fill the last week or two with something useful to the candidate should we fall a little short of crop to sample. Students looking to complete a 15 week work placement are therefore more than welcome to apply.

The opportunity to gain experience in other sectors of our business could be available upon further discussion.

Flexible hours starting from 40 hours a week during peak time and subject to change as the company requires.

Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence and ability to work within a team and independently.
• None – full training in quality will be given and you will be working alongside experienced QC’s and Crop Managers.
