About the Role

As a Wedding & Events Coordinator you will be responsible for the event planning and management of weddings, events and special occasions.

This role is 5 days a week including weekends on a rota basis. Working hours are usually 9-5.30pm including some evening shifts.

You will need a high level of personal organisation and attention to detail, plus the ability to quickly gain the confidence and respect of both the client and the team.

This is a hands-on role and guaranteed to be different every day. You will be working very closely with our housekeeping team and catering partners.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Arranging and conducting viewings of the venue and accommodation.
  • Ensuring conversion of enquiries to confirmed bookings. To hit sales targets you will need to be creative and flexible when discussing options with potential customers.
  • Taking event bookings and room reservations using CRM systems.
  • Organising event setup and on the day coordination, ensuring each event exceeds the couple’s expectations
  • Coordinating wedding ceremonies to run smoothly, on time and to an exceptionally high standard
  • Be the main point of contact for couples and handle all details of the booking. This includes preparing function sheets, liaising with suppliers, helping clients plan their event and invoicing.
  • Deal with any issues that arise promptly and professionally.
