An opportunity to join a forward thinking, family run farming estate based in Norfolk. The farm is a 1500ha ring fenced unit growing a mix of Wheat, Oilseed Rape, Potatoes, Onions and Sugar Beet. The farm operates modern farm machinery including Fendt and John Deere Tractors with Greenstar satellite to carry out precision farming practices.

The Role

• Main responsibility of assisting spraying 1500ha of Wheat, Oilseed Rape, Onions and Sugar Beet cropping year round.
• Operating Trailed 36m Horsch Leeb on Fendt Tractor integrated with Greenstar Satellite system
• Operating Ecorobotix Spot Sprayer attached to Fendt Tractor
• To also be flexible to working within a team and assisting additional farm operations when needed.
• Fertiliser Spreading, AMAZONE ZA-TS 4200
• Assisting cultivations & harvest
• Operating JCB Telehandlers.
• Training provided for all tasks
• Competitive rate of pay based on experience The Person
• Previous experience spraying, PA1 & PA2 Certificate
• Employer will take responsibility to ensure NRoSo Points and Training are kept up to date.
• Ideally previous experience with Greenstar satellite
• A keen and driven individual who is willing to listen, communicate and work with peers.
• An attention for detail, tidiness and awareness of farm safety
• A team player
• Punctual
• Full UK Driving License
