Located on the grounds of Tewkesbury Academy, the Tewkesbury Academy Sports Centre serves both the school and the local community. During school hours, the facilities are used by students, while in the evenings, weekends, and school holidays, they are open to the wider community.

Our Swim School at Tewkesbury Academy Sports Centre offers swimmers the chance to progress from beginner to advanced levels.

As a Lifeguard, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering a variety of services across the facility. The Lifeguard team operates on a shift basis, which includes evening and weekend work.

Personal requirements:

• A current NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) is essential
• Must be able to communicate effectively with people of various ages and backgrounds
• Physically capable of carrying out the role
• Flexibility in working shifts, learning new skills and covering other roles (within reason)
• A passion for working within the leisure industry
• Patience and a good customer service when dealing with customers
• High standards of cleanliness and service with attention to detail
