A friendly but private family is looking for an experienced sole charge Groom/Rider to work with them to facilitate and share their lovely equestrian 11-acre facility in the best of locations.

They have two young children (10 and 15 ), but they all love to ride recreationally. The youngest is keen to get active with some pony club activities too!

They have 4 horses, (4 horses ranging from an 18-hand shire to a pony for the youngest), 6 chickens, 3 dogs and  2 sheep.

Requirements:

• You will be experienced in a similar family situation
• You will be a confident and competent Rider for hacking and keeping horses/ponies safe and happy with their lives for and with the family
• You will have experience with pony club and riding instruction for children and parents as all family members would like to improve their riding skills. (BHS or equivalent qualification is ideal but not essential).
• You will be a car driver and able to tow a trailer
• You will enjoy introducing and supporting the youngest child with her to PC endeavours
• A flexible person is necessary for some other duties which would include caring for both the horses and the other animals too daily and when family is away, the odd school run, admin related to the running of the property, errands etc.
