How to Apply
Chateau Reynier has been in the ownership of the Lurton family Dynasty since 1901. We are located in the village of Grezillac, 10 km from St Emilion. It is a family property of 30 hectares of vines, a unique stone quarry to age the wines and a 15th century manor. The vineyard is organic certified.
Marc Lurton, Oenologist and an international wine consultant, has run the estate since 1980. He was joined by his second daughter Pauline in 2019, the sixth generation of the family.
POSITION SUMMARY
Château Reynier is looking for an Harvest Intern to join us for the 2024 Harvest. The Harvest Cellar Intern works closely with Marc Lurton and the cellar team. We strive to provide a safe, educational, and enjoyable work environment while learning the day-to-day operations within the cellar to reach absolute wine quality.
This is a temporary position anticipated to commence end-August and is anticipated to last for
approximately 2 months, subject to harvest conditions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Pressing
• Sanitation of tanks, equipment, etc.
• Conduct pump overs
• Topping and sampling as needed
• Bottling
• Maintain cellar cleanliness and organization
• Other duties may be assigned
